an update.....

So... here is life.

Brent- Brent is still working away at both jobs. We spent Christmas at Grandmas house up in Winter Haven and had lots of fun. Brent got for Christmas: 2 book store gift cards, a visa card to shop with; a dkny shirt; a book light; a book mark; ipod headphones; ipod charger; a book; earrings; running shoes.... and our together gifts are as follows; tons of kitchen stuff; walmart cards; panera card; book money; cookies and tjs picture/frame; flitch... and other stuff I am probrably forgetting. And my grandparents brought him down his guitar from PA which I believe he uses the most. He lovessss his guitar! But yeah, Brent has also recently taken over the bills and all money output because he is a lot more responsible than I, so that we can save more money. And I think thats all for him right now. He has also had off Panera for this week since we went to Grandmas, he enjoys just working one job for a week. He goes back tomorrow night.

Leah- My posts are always longer because I am the one that updates and I dont know everything that Brent thinks... lol. He is very busy and does not update often. Anywho... Leah has a few different updates. First of all Leahs Christmas gifts; red flats with matching shirt; blue shirt; tote; shopping bag tote; bath soaps; earrings; a wallet; moccasins; a shirt from Brent; a hoodie and tank; and I think thats it unless I forgot things. And I start school on Monday. I am taking a chem class, a bio class, and a french class. I also bought most of my books online yesterday, which made everything very real to me. I am very nervous about going back to school but excited at the same time. My job as I probrably said before can not keep me around as part time because they need full time, so they found somebody else to take my shift. So they took me off the schedule as of the 12th of January, which is a little more than a week away. So.... today was job hunt day. The one day where my PANERA addiction has helped me, heres the story. Brent works at a Panera about 5 miles away because the one close was not hiring. Although I used to get lunch at the Panera basically 1/10 of a mile away from our apt all the time. So I walked in there and knew the hiring manager because thats how much I go there, and got a job. I start training this weekend hopefully, but she said welcome to the team... so all is well. Job stress is off, and I have an awesome schedule. I know I primarily will work the day shift which is like 5am-1pm which means I have every night off which is sweet. So thats good for me.... I am pumped to start there. I think that is all for today!

Kitty- Started a new food, instead of a kitten food which plumps them up she is on a dental care food from Science Diet so that her teeth stay healthy.... and she is sleeping under the Christmas tree right now, so she can't add anything to the conversation. ha...

well.... love you miss you peace

update

So here is life as of now:

Brent- Brent is still working allllll the time so we can save money. He works 7-315. And then night hours at Panera. This week he worked like everyday but Monday at Panera and he works straight through till I think Tuesday. He asked off of Panera for Christmas Eve to Christmas weekend so that we can go to Grandmas for Christmas. He is at work right now at Macys since its the weekend before Christmas. So... yeah, that is Brent right now... Workaholic man.

Leah- may be a little more complicated. Basically since I am going to school I am cutting my hours back at work, and my current job is not interested in me being part time so I am going to get another job for part now. I will be in college full time starting the 1st week in January. Grandma told me about sites that let you rent books instead of buying, so basically I finally looked into it and realized that I can get my books for a 1/4 of the price of what they cost. So that is a good discovery. Anyways.... thats life or now. I am just being a bum today.

christmas

This is the tree after the decorations.
This is the stockings we made and one of my angels

This is one of the felt decorations we made
This is the tree from afar ha
This is the kitty in Brents sock drawer

okay... so here is an update for you.
1. Ben was here this weekend and we had a ton of fun. He came in on Thursday night and we all went to pick him up. On Friday Brent called off work to hang out with him and they went to the beach, picked up Sam when she got off and just hung out and played cards. When I got off we all just hung out together. Saturday we went and bought stuff to make our own Christmas decorations out of felt and had a ton of fun. Then I went to a work party at Dr Teresa's house and had a lot of fun, Brent came for a little. Then we came back here and hung out with Ben and Sam and watched movies. On Sunday we went to a craft show and then came back here to hang out. Sunday night we took Ben back and went shopping with Sam for the last of her college stuff at Target. Today Sam went home and now its just us for Christmas. :)

2. My mom sent me a box today with all my angels in it. Since I was born I get a Christmas decoration that is an angel for every Christmas, so I got all 17 of them in the mail today. And my gold ballerina, which is like the ultimate decoration. And we got a letter from Joshy/Kirsten/Aaron, and candy. So then I put them all on the tree and I have update pictures.

pics

This is our freaking awesome picture from this kick ass concert we went to all day today. Its where 26 bands come together and throw a great show. Some death metals, some punk bands, and pretty much all of them are nationally great bands. Red Jumpsuit, Atreyu, Salivia, Mayday Parade, etc. It was awesome, and it was our Christmas present from Sam.
This is kitty being devious
This is the bottom half of our tree that has no decorations thanks to kitty.
There is an example of 1 of the millions of decorations placed in different places throughout the house by her
This is the tree as a whole and our stockings.
This is our roomie Dale, he is pretty kick ass. He is pretty chill and laid back, he's an optician, but is very musically talented. He also introduced us to eggs Benedict, and cooks breakfast for us. Very cool guy, him being here makes it possible for me to go back to school, financially. So all is good with him

And there is just a few picture updates.

yo leah

So life has been pretty regular lately.

Leah-
I work every week day at the vet office.  I am registered for the spring semester at PBCC still, I owe them $90 for the remainder of classes that my loan did not cover.  I also need book money, which is about $350 dollars, so I  really need that. And life is good.  I decided that my sweat pants are such a scape goat for me, thats why I never notice weight gain, so I am getting rid of all but 1 pair of sweaties.  Looking cute makes me get out and going.  Things are getting a little hard as the holidays come closer.... like without family, but grandma is coming soon so I am excited.

Ben-
Has bought plane tickets to come down here to see us next weekend and we are so excited to show him around. This is also the last time that we will see him before his mission (poop).... and we are going to miss him.

Brent-
Is SOOOOO busy.... he works works works works works.  And we have a separate bank acct to put that money in for savings.  He is working hard so we can pay some things off.

Sam-
BOUGHT US TICKETS TO THE BUZZ BAKE SALE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!! Which is basically the largest rock concert in all of South Florida.  It has like 26 bands and it will be amazing. It is tomorrow and we are all pumped.  Today was her last day at the chocolate shop, and next friday is her last day at macys.  She goes home dec 15th, we will miss her.

Kitty-
Loves toes, weird I know. And Christmas tree ornaments. HAHAHA

well... love you miss you peace angelia

pet education

PET EDUCATION
1. Grocery store food for pets is like you eating McDonalds every day.  There are so many fillers, and fat in those foods.  Later in life, when your pet gets arthritis, diabetes, and dies a long death.... Its because of the effects of poor nutrition.  Use preventive care and it will pay off later.  Good foods are ones from Pet Supermarket, and your vets office.

2.  Vaccinations do not harm your pet, and are not made from pesticides, they are needed even for indoor animals, they are made to boost your animals immune system.  If you can't afford them, don't have animals.  Somebody else could give them better care.

2b. Heartworm tests and fecal tests yearly are necessary to make sure your animal does not have parasites.  Certain types of worms can be transmitting to people!!! Stray "cute" animals can make your family sick.  Hookworms and roundworms are SO COMMON in outdoor animals.  They cause diarrhea, vomiting, and lethargy in people.  So just make sure that is something you are okay with if you don't take your animal to a vet!

3. Flee and tick preventive are needed in all parts of our country and not the stuff from Walmart.  Heartguard, Interceptor, Advantix..... all good stuff.

4.  ANIMALS HAVE TEETH! They needed to be brushed, "dog breath" IS NOT NORMAL!!!!! It means your dogs teeth are not taken care of! You either need to brush them every morning like your own, or get dental cleanings every year.  Or use a water additive, like fluoride for animals you can get it at your vet's office.

...... I only share all this because every single day I see these ridiculous people that aren't educated about there animals, and I was one of them.  To this day, I have an outdoor cat at my moms house that has God only knows what, and is completely unvaccinated.  I never knew how important that was, and when I am home I will take care of that.  But for the time being, don't be a slacker and take care of your pets, they are just like kids and care about you just a much.

And I want everyone who reads this blog to never say nobody ever told me.

Finally a post from the leah

Life has been pretty busy lately.  Heres some updates.

Brent
He went back to Panera Bread part time at night so we could save money to come back to PA.  He works about 15-20 hours a week there, and full time at Macys everyday from 7-3:15.  So he is working super hard so we can save money. He is also applying to McDaniel College for the fall semester, so if it works out he will go there in the fall.  If not he will take more courses at a community college until he can transfer in.  He decided to write his admissions essay on how being married young will add diversity to the college, based on the things that he knows that traditional college students wouldn't.  Like how to be independent, do your own bills, work hard, and understand the concept of money.  I am excited to see how it will turn out.  Brent also pulled himself out of bed this morning at 3 am for Black Friday.

Leah
My McDaniel advisor and I have been corresponding back and forth on my re-admission into school.  When I went there in the Fall 07' semester things didn't go so well, I was trying to do to much at one time, and my grades reflected my neglect at school.  They said that if I can pull at least a 3.5 this semester at a community college, there are good odds to be being re-admitted.  If not I will just take classes at HACC until they let me back in.  I know its weird that I am so set on this school, but I just know its a great school.  The teachers there just expect more, they want you to think deeper, and they know when you write a paper in 5 minutes.  They want you to be diverse in the world, so you aren't just educated in your degree, but you are honestly EDUCATED. Really educated, in multicultural aspects, language, race, everything.  So I am completely ready to be back on track with school.  I am still working at the vets office and learning more things each day.

Sam
Is still working her 2 jobs, and shopping for school stuff. I took her for her first Black Friday experience this morning.  She bought presents for her family and jeans for school, and some other cute stuff.  She is heading back home on the 15th and then goes to college in Idaho on January 3rd.  She is very excited.

Carly(kitty)
Carly has discovered the Christmas tree, she thinks that I bought her a 6ft jungle gym.... Needless to say the bottom half of our tree has no decorations because they are disbursed throughout the house by her.  Behind every door is a Christmas bulb. And she discovered that she likes the way it sounds when you walk across a key board.  And unlike most cats, she comes with us on daily outings and when we go to pick up Brent at night from work, she always comes along.  She likes looking out the window.

And thats all today!
love you miss you peace angelia

life

So here is the dealyo
Basically lately has been really crazy, and we have been really homesick/its cold here/we are having a lot of complications with school. So we decided that coming back to Pa would be a good answer to the problem because we could get instate tuition and things are so much cheaper there. We went and talked to our leasing guy and he said that it costs 250 dollars to get out of our lease, so we were like making plans and stuff. Then we went and talked to the property manager and she said that it really costs 3600 DOLLARS TO GET OUT OF OUR LEASE. Needless to say, the only way to get out of our lease is to find somebody to take over our lease, so for now we are stuck. But we put up signs for our apartment and its on the net and stuff. So thats life. But, its not that we don't like it down here. Its just that things are getting really hard, and money is SUPER tight so we wanted to go back to where everything is so cheap. But needless to say, that might take longer than expected. So for now, our goal is to go to McDaniel back in Westminster in the fall, and try to take some classes at PBCC for the spring, which is a lot harder than you would think...... Our lease is up in July, if we can't find somebody before then and we will be on our way home. Its not that we are miserable, it would just make being a student a lot more possible in PA. And we miss a lot of people. But anywho, Brents mom/dad/brother are coming into town as we speak. They are n there way down from the Orlando area(where Matt goes to school and they are almost here). So yeah, for Halloween Brent, Sam, and I watched scary movies and ate pizza/ate candy for fun. So we had fun, and are excited about this weekend. YAY
love you miss you peace.an gelia.

Brents monthly post

Friday night connie and brad came to see us. We showed them our place then went to cityplace to eat at panera bread. We looked at some of the shops there including Brookstone where they have all sorts of cool gadgets and massagers. Then they took us grocery shopping so that we have food again for the next week (awesome!).

On saturday we woke up early to go to breakfast at BurgerKing. We were supposed to go to the beach but the weather was frightening so we investigated the nearest goodwill for books, movies, and pictureframes for the house. Once we got a few things there we went back to our place and packed to go to Connie and Brad's place. There house is really amazing, and it's right on the golf course. Connie took Leah and Sam shopping and the girls ended up getting shoes, and leah bought be a new belt (which I desperately needed). While the girls were shopping I went golfing with Brad and he showed me the basics at the driving range. That was tons of fun. Connie made dinner for us that night. The food was absolutely amazing. We had meadloaf and corn and mashed potates that Brad made.

Sunday we played a boardgame called battle of the sexes. hahaha. that was interesting, but the questions were pretty hard. We also went swimming and went out to eat again, this time at perkins. Sam drove part of the way home so Leah and I are really proud that she can drive the stickshift. It'll make things easier when we're all working at different times.

Its monday now and that means back to work for me and leah. Sams job hunting some more and my boss at macy's said that she wants sam to come in for an interview this week and if all goes well she can start first thing next week. Carly is doing well and does a good job at keeping us entertained.

on a happy note

Some pretty good things have been happening. On Tuesday, Sam came into town!!!! She was quite terrified because they had to just cruise over Miami because there was a storm, so the plane couldnt actually land. Then she went to get her luggage with Brent(I was working so I couldn't go to pick her up with him)... and they wouldn't unload it off the plane because they said that there was lightening 10 miles away. So we also had to pay for parking, but needless to say around 8-9... Sam and Brent arrived and I was very excited. Then on Wednesday I adopted a kitty. She is a black and white kitten, and I named her Carly(after my friend). I know there are expenses that come with having a pet, but I also know that the best me and Brent can do, is a lot better than a cage. Needless to say she makes us laugh 24/7 and all three of us are so glad she is here(even Brent). He loves her. Then yesterday night Sam had her first beach experience in Florida, we all went to the beach till it got dark and had fun. Then we got home to see the kitty and we could not find her for like 20 minutes. And she doesn't meow. Literally does not meow. So here we are FREAKING OUT about in tears because we had searched every damn cabinet in this house, every crack and could not find her... we even checked the frig and outside. Then we checked the frig again and when Sam closed it, it let her loose... she had gotten stuck in between the frig and the wall in this crack I didn't think she could possibly fit in. We were all so grateful. So we stuffed the small space with plastic grocery bags so she wouldn't think she could get in there again. Then we all played a game of cards and went to bed. We have been having slumber parties in the living room. My friend gave us her sectional couch with a sleeper in it and we arent letting the kitty in the bedrooms yet because it is carpetted in there, so basically we are camping out with her. Sam mans the couch and me and Brent sleep on the pull out. It has been good. We love her, she constantly plays and jumps and she is just a ton of fun. So yeah, it has been good. My grandparents are coming into town today!!! How exciting. They are spending the night down here and then we are going to there place from Saturday-Sunday. My friend Crystal is coming to check on kitty over the weekend. So I am excited.... thats the daily update. Sorry for everybody who said we are responsible people who are waiting to get animals, I am a softy.
love you miss you, peace angelia.

from the leah

Well not much has been happening lately. Friday, Brent and I went to Panera Bread for dinner. Saturday early morning Brent left early morning to go visit with his brother Matt and a friend from wayyyy back, who is about to go on a mission. So he is still up in Orlando having fun with them, he said he is having lots of fun.
So yesterday since i was carless I rode my bike to the library and a friend of mine/ a few other people left me messages telling me that a best friend of mine from middle school overdoesed on drugs and died a few days ago. Her name was Carly DeVage, she is from Abbottstown. She was my first friend when I went to New Oxford middle, we were both new and didn't know many people. Needless to say, if you knew me then, I was NOTHING but trouble. Me and her got ourselves in so much crap it was ridiculous, suspensions, detentions, and all that crap...... but to me it was like 7th grade. I knew 7th/8th grade didn't realllyyy matter and I still had years to pull myself to together. We were a tag team haha... my mom actually wrote the school principal, or whoever she wrote to say that we were not to communicate, so we passed notes constantly and skipped class together whenever we could. Then at the end of my 8th grade year, my mom pulled me from school into a cyber school because I got the last suspension she said that I would ever get and I got kicked off the cheerleading squad for stuff me, Carly, and a girl Danielle Smith did. So me and Carly go way back... she was always a smart girl that just got into the wrong shit time and time again. I got pulled from the situation (New Oxford High School), but she didn't and look where she turned out. She has a 10 month old son and shes gone. Most of my other friends from school are either pregnant, have kids, drug problems, or just never got off their ass and did anything with themselves. Needless to say, I am happy to be where I am. And I wish when I left, New Oxford I could have taken her with me. That school is down hill in a handbasket and it gets worse everyday. After I had time to absorb it all, I just feel like there is something else I could have done to get her out of there... not that what happened can be blamed on that school, but seriously the kids there are no good (most of them) and the drugs in that school are ridiculous... God only knows where I would of been if I would have stayed. And when I left in 8th grade I got better, me and Brent got together and now we are married and we live in a beautiful apartment and are really happy. When I left Carly in 8th grade, she got worse friends in worse shit and then she got pregnant, then she died. It's weird that even though I haven't talked to her in about a year except for maybe running into her in the mall and saying hi... her being gone would stir up so much in me. I am just grateful to have what I have and am soooo sorry for not trying a little bit harder to pull her out with me, and i am so sorry she is gone.
sad post today. sorry.

This where I work at the vets office.

leah

a quick one i guess.
we havent posted in a while because we have been pretty decently busy. my parents were in town all last week and we had so much fun. we took them to a whole bunch of different places all over west palm and our house was finally not so quiet. also, they came baring presents from amy and matt... 2 SYSTEMS, A TV AND A DVD PLAYER. It is amazing finally having something to listen to. and.... they bought us groceries/numerous house things that we desperately needed. and one of the days we went to boomers(which is like a huge mini golf/arcade thing) for joshys bday and had so much fun. and we went to the beach like everyday. that was a ton of fun. i will put up pictures soon. so as far as any other news, i still really love my job, the girls that i work with are great and i really like the environment. it can get stressful but there is still a lot to learn. and... brent still likes his job. and we both have weekends off. i am pretty much done macys... because it stank. but thats all in the job area.
as far as anything else goes we have a number of visitors coming. we have SAM coming next tuesday and staying till december. then we have brents parents coming from november 1st to the 5th and ben is coming but we are not sure of the dates yet. and to help us out, one of the girls that i work with is getting a new couch so she is giving me and brent her sectional sleeper couch, so we can have more people here. its going to be great. but anyways. i am excited. AND i am painting my dresser... its hideous, like wooden and chipped. so we are painting it a white sand color with blue border detail, the color of our bedspread. i started this morning. but i had errands to run so i took a break. but anywho. loveyou missyou peace. angelia

News from Brent

I started macy's on tuesday and I like the job a lot. It's actually very easy and there is practically 0 stress when I'm working. They don't rush you at all and everybody seems really laid back, almost lazy. I did have to end Panera and Target which I felt really bad about. I really didn't want to quit (I hate quitting things). At least I left panera on good terms and target on fair terms though.

Lori, Lonnie, and Josh are leaving right about now I believe and they will get here tomorrow evening/night. Leah and I are so excited to see family and be able to show them where we live. Leah has been making plans for the week and I'm sure much of them include the beach. There is a waterpark here that looks like a ton of fun so we are planning on going this week. Also, Sam is coming on September 30th and Ben is going to try coming for halloween. We're all going to go trick or treating! AWESOME!

That's all for now.

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

an update from leah.

so basically heres life guys.
I currently work at the vet full time and love it. I love the animals and the job does not suck at all compared to Macy's clothing. I mean its not a cake walk, but I like to learn new things so learning about the animals and medicines is something I enjoy and hope to do more of. I feel like I am actually accomplishing something by working there, rather than organizing clothes, which quite frankly makes you feel like a pretty big POS if you ask me. And on the subject of Macy's, I did finally decide to the job, except in fragrances... the comisssion is different there. Basically in clothes you got paid 9 an hour to sell 1700 in clothes. Anything extra you sold (which barely ever happens) you get 5%. In fragrances you get paid a base hourly of 7 dollars. Then you make 3% on everything you sell. And its nicer in that department because instead of fighting over customers, basically you have an alternating system, its just every other person rings the next sales. So its always ends equal. My first day part time was Sunday, I worked 11-7 and sold 1565 so I made like 13 an hour with my comission. Its worth the money. And they work around the vet, and they are letting me off the week my parents are coming into town... so i will only be working the vet that week. I am happy about that one. Sooo.. and I went on a diet. Not a unrealistic one, but I eat salad for lunch and don't drink soda. I also joined Gold's Gym, which is in the same plaza as my job at the vets office. I am so relieved... it feels so good to be trying to get in shape. It buils my confidence. And they have all these free classes that are way better than the YMCA, there is no signup... You just show up on time and take classes. So I like it, when I got off the vet office today I took a class called PUMP. It kicked my ass, and I can barely move. So I guess thats a good thing. The rest of this week is crazy for me though. heres the schedule.
Wednesday- 8-5 at the vet 530-930 at Macys
Thursday- 8-830 at the vet
Friday- 8-5 at the vet and 530- 930 at Macys.
Saturday = Macys
Sunday = Macys
So I dont forecast any days off for me pretty much until my parents come into town, then I will have off weekends because I wont be working Macys. So thats life for now. I will post as soon as I can, but my time is pretty limited. So love you miss you peace. angelia.

leah has a plan

So i have made tenative plans which makes me happy. most them have to do with brent and his school. we are about to start at the university of pheonix but brent can only go there for a year since they dont offer any science courses. so i had to devise a plan... my specialty. basically this is what i came up with. he is going to go to the university of pheonix for year and work on all his general classes. then starting next year around May, he will go to Palm Beach Comm. College (our original plan) because then we will be able to get in state tuition and they offer a pre-chemistry assoicates degree that he can transfer to a 4 year institution. so once he goes to pbcc he will take all his sciences then get his associates and move on. basically then i was looking around at schools. basically, I found Florida State University, reason why I like this school is because it has options for married students. Basically they have on campus housing for married students, and how cool would that be... to like be around a bunch of other young married people that are all going to school. so basically, i think that school is really cool. so hopefully once brent has his associates he will be able to go there and we can live in that housing while I go to univ of pheonix. and this school has international campuses so if we would want to study abroad we could go. anywho. the financial process is going good at school. and work is good. one more macys day.

loveyou missyou
angelia.

Brent

working conditions seem like they get worse and worse everyday at panera. Today around 1 pm we ran out of lettuce, strawberries, turkey, and some other small things (running out of key ingredients seems to happen often lately). Our computers kept crashing and when they finally reboot they don't operate properly. Since we (the hourly associates) are the ones usually dealing with the customers we have to take the heat from angry people that can't and don't get what they want. I started at target in electronics on sunday. Im in training right now, but the job seems alright. While I was working I saw some demos playing for the ps3. The games were mostly war games, and the graphics were amazing. I saw some really cool racing games for it, and I realized that it also plays blu-ray discs. I really want a ps3 now.

We talked to sam a couple days ago, and she found out from one of her friends that works at the movie theatre that the opening day for harry potter 6 got pushed from november to mid next year. this left an open spot for another movie to take its place, and twilight got pushed forward a whole month. Sam will be visiting us in november so we are all going to go see twilight!

Alex dimmick got his mission call to somoa and is leaving october 8th. He said the entire Island has a population of about 200,000 which is smaller than orlando. crazy. Alex's mission call made me think of ben. I hope you're doing good man. We miss you.

Hurrican Gustav (currently a level 1) was heading towards florida from what we heard earlier, but we found out today that it is heading west and should miss florida entirely. The website we looked at spotted three more formations off in the atlantic that are potential hurricanes. We'll keep checking up on these so we know what's going on.

leah say

okay so i know our updates have been sort of shitty, sorry peoples. basically i have been working non stop. i am in the process of switching over jobs so i have been training there from 8-11 and then going to work at macys from 1230-930. so i work literally all day. the days when i have off the vet (like the weekends) basically then i work macys all day. when i have off of macys i work at the vets all day. so basically my life consists of working non stop. all day everyday, so... but on a good note. i really like the job at the vets. everyone there is super cool... so its good. and the work is definetly better and i love the animals. so anywho, thats it for now. love you miss you peace angelia

Brent

My parents sent me a bike so that I can get to and from work when I don't have a car. today was going to be the first day that I rode it, but the weather was calling for a level 1 hurricane. It was pooring rain (thats all though) so Leah drove me and I was 20 minutes late. I started talking to alex dimmick over facebook over the past few days. He is leaving on a mission in the fall so I might try to visit him before he leaves. I start the target job on the 22nd. Im hoping the job works out and doesn't conflict with my schedule at panera. Our representative at the university of phoenix said that leah and I should start our classes before the end of august. I'm excited to start. I'm currently majoring in Information Technology, but I am only doing this to get financial aid while I get my general classes over with. by the time I have those classes done with I will be able to go to a school somewhere else and major in biotech, biochem, or biomedical engineering (something along the lines of one of these). Nothing is really changing now that we're getting settled, and it's leaving me without anything to blog about.

leah...

so brent needs to blog. i think he fell off the face of the earth. so basically, i am going to have him blog today. friday at work was crazzzyyyy boring, and i did a double shift. i was there by 9 and didnt leave till 8 at night. then i went in at 1 on saturday and was there till 1030ish. it was crazy busy all day, the store was so trashed. i am just glad i had off today. so brent had to work today from 10-3. so i dropped him off and went to the beach!!! i felt bad though because the waves today were huge, every other day that i go with brent... there arent any waves, so skim boarding isnt as fun for him. today they were awesome, and he wasnt there. so anywho.... i start my new job this week, as well as still working macys. when i told them i was quiting, they offered me the chanel counter position... which is a big deal. but i said no because i dont like macys... its crazy over the holidays. so next week i train at the vets from 8-11 and work macys 1230-930 like 3 days. they wanted me to get acquainted with the computer system before i start. i actually want to get a weekend job just to give us a little extra money for the holidays and things. i am going to go around to some restaraunts... then maybe to pizza hut. i never minded that job, and i already know what i am doing. so it would be good. anyways.... just my little update. but i am on my way! loveyou missyou. angelia.

leah.

so nothing really has been happening lately, at least nothing that good.

1. Macy's is not what I thought it would be. First of all I thought you made alot more for selling the daily goal. My daily goal is like 1400, and after returns you basically need to sell like 2 grand a day to make any extra money. I talked with a few other girls that are new there as well, and they definetly had the same impression that I had. They were all SOOO excited about this job because they thought they would make bigggg money, which is not the case. I found out over 50 percent of the store associates are in defecit. Which means, each week if you dont m ake your goals, when you do start making over and making extra money, the company takes it. So you still dont make anything extra. So basically I get paid 9 dollars an hour to run my ASS off and kiss rich peoples asses, for no reason.

2. I semi got offered a job at a vet office, as front desk. For the same thing that I make at Macy's but I HAVE A CHAIR TO SIT IN. and i have to kiss nobodys ass, but on rare occasion. I get to be nice, play with puppies, and check people in. And since I am going to school for accounting, front desk experience is good on my resume. The guy that interviewed me was really nice, his wife is the vet and they run a vet hospital. And the other girls that work there seem to be really nice as well.... So on Tuesday I go in to shadow one of the girls from 8-11 and based on that is whether I get the job. Hopefully all goes well, because I am sick of Macys.

3. I can't wait to start school. Basically they are just waiting to process my financial aid because my last name changed, so I had to get a new ss card. But when I try to go in and edit my FAFSA, I cant becauseeee the name that the ss office has on file for me, isn't my married name. So I am just waiting to get my new card, then if all goes well I can start school.

4. Kiki (our cat) has finally started to actually warm up to us and cuddle and do what cats are supposed to do BUT.... Brent was changing the sheets yesterday to put them in the laundry and we realized that he had peed on our new mattress!!!!! Thankfully we have a expensive, liquid resistant mattress cover, so the mattress it self is okay... but still. And then we decided to look under the bed, because he lays there a lot when we are at work. And we found one spot so far :( so we think we have to get rid of him, which is really sad for us. So, today I am going to email the woman that gave him too us and see if she will take him back or find a different home for him. Or I don't know what we will do. Anyways, sad news for us.

Well its life.
loveyou missyou peace angelia

Hey guys

I know I haven't blogged for a while, but it feels like im running out of things to talk about. Leah and I are both looking for jobs 24/7. She decided that she hates macy's and doesn't get treated fairly there. I completely understand (commissioned sales was my least favorite job ever). I applied today at a roofing company as a driver. They said they were willing to train as long as I have a clean driving record so Ill follow up with them after the weekend. I also applied as a pharmacy technician at cvs. They preferred experience but said they were willing to train. They already hired a girl that had previous experience at cvs, but I talked to a lady there today that said this doesn't mean that I won't be hired too. I have an interview at target on monday for a part time position. If I got this job then I would keep the job at panera and work a total of 40-50 hours a week.

Leah has some interesting job possibilities. There is a babysitting job that pays really well that would be full time. She applied for this and also for a position at a dance studio in Jupiter. She got a call from a lady at the dance studio and they are organizing a meeting as I type. If she gets the job there she would be teaching ballroom. pretty cool huh?

I saw a ferrari today. Two days ago I saw a dodge viper and a plymouth prowler. I saw an amazing car that Id never heard of before at the beach called Mosler. I looked it up on the internet and found out I never heard of it before because the company is based in riviera beach Fl. (10 minutes from us). I see lamborginis and lotus's now and then. All these nice cars make me want a job in valet.

the cops here are nuts. the police force here is bigger than the south west class of 2008. maybe not but it feels like it. motorcycle police hide every day under an overpass and wait to pull people over coming off the exit ramp. we see them at it every single day. sometimes I think they are just making up their own reasons as to why they pull every other car over.

I just finished reading breaking dawn, and I think I need to let everyone know that there has never been a better fantasy fiction series. Not even harry potter. sorry jk rowling.

oh, one more thing. I've been really excited ever since leah found out about the university of phoenix. I have been waiting to hear back from florida atlantic but regardless of whether im accepted there or not I'll be looking into the university of phoenix for myself.

what say leah

hey guys.
a boring post again... not much has happened here. last friday i had off and brent went to his concert. he had a lot of fun. me and kiki cuddled and watched movies all night. we watched becoming jane, WHICH IS AN AMAZING MOVIE... its about jane austen and it has anne hathaway. basically every woman or boy that likes chick flicks should watch it. anywho, then i watched some gay olsen twins movie from there pre drug addict days ha, it was okay. then brent got home around 1, and we went to bed. saturday, i worked and i dont think anything else exciting happened. sunday, which was yesterday i went to work to get more hours. i worked like 12-6ish and sold 1800... so i made like 800 over the sales goal. which is 171 per hour. then we relaxed. today i went to work.... i had a lot of returns at different registers, which gets deducted from your daily goal, so it was hard to make the goal today but i sold like 1500, only like 150 over the goal, but yet it was done so i was content. TOMORROW I HAVE OFF!!!! i am so excited. Anywho, this week is going to be hellish at work becuase we have a corporate visit, from the CEO over ALLLL of the macys in the us. He only picked 3 macys out of the 200 in florida to visit, and we were one of them. soooo.... anywho, everybody at work is being a little coo coo. needless to say, i am happy i have tomorrow off.
well... love you miss you peace.. angelia

hey

well I don't need to put to much effort into blogging today because Leah did such a good job covering all the bases in hers. My friend brandon will be in fort lauderdale for two weeks actually so we'll probably skateboard a little while he's here. Also, of course I am stoked (STOKED) to be able to see linkin park in concert and possibly see them back stage! I think the used, armor for sleep, atreyu, hawthorne heights, and some other amazing bands will be there too.

Now that we work we haven't been able to make it to the beach more than once a week (I know life is terrible), but I am going through withdrawel and really need to get back in the water. I reserved breaking dawn at the library, but I'll have to wait a little while till I can get it because there were already some people that reserved it before me.

-brent

what say leah.

hey guys... brent realized that me and him havent blogged in a long time so we decided to come blog. basically nothing much happened last weekend, but i had off saturday and sunday. saturday i just grocery shopped and went to the pool. and sunday we got to go to the beach!!!!! yay. then monday was a bore day.... i worked 1230-930. i sold 1300 something. tuesday.... i sold not much because we were putting a new line of clothes on the floor and setting stuff up like all day. then we got our kitty, kiki. he is adorable, i believe he is still a little scared of his new surroundings but we love him and like having him around. its nice to have a little guy to come home too. then wednesday i sold 2500 dollars!!! it was pretty busy. but none the less a great selling day. today wasnt really good for selling, there were 2 other people there besides me and its pretty dog eat dog. i just didnt really feel like playing that game, so when they stole my customers i just let it roll.... i need a day off. WHICH IS TOMORROW YAY! anywho, i miss everybody. i am so excited for all the visits that we have coming though. first, brents friend brandon is staying with his dad for like a week in fort lauderdale, and he bought brent a back stage pass to a concert with linkin park etc... thats tomorrow and he is very excited. then in the end of august the grandparents are coming in to town!!! woo.... !!!!!! then in mid september mom, dad, and joshy are coming down to visit (which makes me so excited :) ). then!!!! samantha schlesser bff duh, is coming down for the monthes of october, november, and little of december to work and stay with US!!!! HOW EXCITED IS ALL OF THIS NEWS. and brandon and ben have a road trip planned for november over thanksgiving.
so basically everybody loves and misses us. and that makes me happy.
and leah is going to be attending the university of pheonix as long as my financial aid goes through, i start in a few weeks. my advisor said that since i have like 1/2 of my classes done, i will have my associates in accounting in 12 monthes. then my bachelors will be done in 18 monthes. so basically life is good, except we are poor. but what can be expected! ANYWAYS!!! LOVE YOU MISS YOU... PEACE ANGELIA

say the leah

okay so today and yesterday were cool. I went to work both days from 9-6. I wasn't expected to actually start selling until 2 weeks after I started, and once I did start selling, I am supposed to meet my sales goal of 171 an hour so about 1400 a day, and everything over that is 5.25%..... BUT. I SOLD $$$$1301 YESTERDAY AND $$$$1535 TODAY!!!! How nuts is that. Seriously, it is so cool. I like my job, at times it is a little frustrating because there is this one lady that tries to steal customers, but the other ladies that I work with are cool. But yes!!!! Leah is a selling machine, my managers where shocked. But anywho, after work everyday me and brent have been going to the pool to help my feet, without weight on them and in water it feels so great, seriously. And then we eat dinner and read and go to bed. Seems a little boring but its nice to finally be making money. I have off Saturday and Sunday though so WOO HOO!!! Anywho.... I am going to go.
loveyou missyou peace angelia

McPanera

Today was my third day at Panera Bread. This first week they scheduled me only about 20 hours so after I got my schedule I had to confirm that I was a full time employee. Patty (boss) said "yes, I am trying to have you as full time." I don't know exactly how to interpret this but if im not scheduled full time hours next week then Ill be applying to another 100+ places. Also, since I know I can't afford to work part time and because panera was short staffed everyday i've been there so far, I took it upon myself to add an extra 2 and half hours to my schedule the first day, an hour and a half my second day, and an hour today. While at work, I've discovered that panera bread is nothing but glorified fast-food. They don't have much going for their employees when it comes to benefits either. I get a 50% discount but only within a half hour of the time I was clocked in at the store location that I worked. dumb.

It's great to hear from the Garcia's! We miss you guys too. I was bummed that we couldn't see you guys before either of us left town, but I hope you guys are doing well and like Colorado.

As leah will probably post, we are scheduled to officially adopt our cat KiKi on tuesday. We're both excited.

okay well a few things to update on. i dont know if i posted about this or not already but this woman was trying to find a home for her cat or she would have to put it in the pound, and she came over yesterday with her cat to see how the kitty (KiKi) interacted with us. They were such nice people, they told us a lot of helpful information about the area and about hurricane preparations. They were seriously so nice to us. Anywho, Brent and I both loved the kitty and I believe we will get it some time this week. On other news I started my job today at 945. I went in and was supposed to have some boring 3 hour lecture in an orientation but the manager that was supposed to give it I guess wasn't there. So instead, I watched about an hour full of videos about store knowledge and all that and then I went on the floor to find my manager. Her name is Kay and she is super nice..... I have some other pretty cool managers, Judy and Sharon are my bosses, I am not shure in what department, but they are really nice too. But yeah today was so busyyy!!!! I got delegated certain sections of the store to organize and make look good, and we basically did that all day.... I actually had fun though. Then as I was leaving for the day at 645, they told me I was keeper:) And that I did a good job, so today is a good day. I am going to go find a book though. So loveyou missyou.... peace angelia

At the Library

After Leah and I were finished blogging yesterday we were both looking for books when a siren in the library went off. A librarian told Leah that it wasn't a drill and made everybody exit the building. We still don't know what the siren meant (whether there was a fire or something else) but we are back in the library now and everything is fine. On the way here from the beach leah and I mused over the fact that the library is our favorite place to go here. We come here as often as we go to the beach. Who would have seen that coming? Also, I didn't have a bookmark for the book im reading now so leah let me borrow hers. It's a picture of her, and her whole family together at the wedding. I think I'll try to make this a short post for once. That means that you guys need to give us more to talk about for next time. Ben, do you know when your leaving for a mission yet or planning to turn in your papers? Sam, give the blue girl a try, but if it has too much fairyland in it then try reading Leah's book, waking brigid. It's also pretty good so thats what I'm reading now. Also, I'm right there with you about hopping planes. There are schools in florida but no beaches in Idaho.

leah didnt get any comments. but she will post anyways. I FOUND THE CAT I WANT(regardless to everybodys ridiculous comments).... its a cat. her name is boo boo, and i am going to buy her once me and brent are on our feet. she looks beautiful. i saw her on this animal rescue website and she is house trained, i love boo boo. AND BRENT GOT A JOB. we think... he will tell you more about him. but congrats to him, he worked VERY hard to get it. seriously. he was more determined more than ever and it happened for him. he starts monday as he will probrably tell you. anywho. i finished the book that i started reading, it was called Waking Brigid, it was a reallllyyy good book. Then I remember seeing that woman on Oprah, that escaped that polygamy cult in Arizona, and I really wanted to read her book and see how those people lived. Because I have never been able to wrap my head around how crazy that whole modern day polygamy thing must be, but the book is nuts. Everything those women went through must have been so hard, and they are all so brainwashed. You should all read it, its about this excommunicating Mormon group, the FLDS. The women cant drive, have money, they cant own books, they cant leave their house without their husband, they cant eat sweets, and they are required to be married by 20 or they are an OLD MAID. Its all just crazy to see how these people live, so if you are up for some discoveries, I would read it. Its called Escape with Laura Palmer. Anywho, yesterday Brent and I pretty much did job searching for him, then we went to the pool at night and watched the movie 10,000B.C., which is an awesome movie. And then we read for like 2 hours and went to bed. Today we went job searching in the morning(where Brent found this job YAY!!!) and then we went to the beach. It was really nice outside today, and Brent got his skimboard in that his mom shipped to him so he was excited. So anywho, got some stuff to do. And my family is at the beach without us which makes me sad. My dad sent me a text message last night and said Leah I need you help packing the car, and I bawled for like ever (which is monumental because me and my dad dont cry) and we didnt always get along but packing cars was something of our expertice :) It made me realize how much I miss him, and his jokes. I hope he reads this when he gets back from the beach. But I miss him more than anyone, that goofy man holds a very special place in my heart. sooo....
missyou loveyou
peace....angelia.

Panara Brent!

PGA is dumb and I'm too awesome to be employed by such losers so I got a job at panera bread instead. The new manager said she wanted me to start on wednesday. until then leah and I are trying to figure out how we are going to be at two different jobs at different times in two very different locations. ship my bike or buy a bike or find buses? Mom- how much did it cost to ship matt's bike to him? Anywho, leah has started on her second book in the few days that she has been reading. I told her reading was addicting (and free). Mom sent out my skimboard to me. Thanks mom.

I've decided that good writers are the ones that aren't completely sane. JK Rowling writes about wizards and magic so she's off her rocker, and stephenie meyer thinks vampires are romantic. I just finished a book called The Blue Girl by Charles De Lint that was pretty witty and was an overall pretty good story. It was about fairies (not good tinkerbell fairies, but mischevious devil fairies), ghosts, imaginary friends, and other sorts of paranormal.

Leah and I gave up fast food as soon as we got to florida in an attempt to become healthy people. We hadn't eaten it once until today because I had two free sandwich coupons at burgerking that were about to expire. We want to be healthy, but we are poor newlyweds that aren't about to pass up free food. Our kitchen is stocked with lots of fruit, lean meat, and actual ingredients as apposed to our old diets of microwave dinners and bagel bites. Since Im done my book I have to go look for a new one now. Anybody have any recommendations?

READ ME

Leah makes fun of me for reading so much and now guess who I got to open a book! whoa. I almost feel bad though that we don't have anything else to occupy ourselves with that its come to Leah reading. I'm sorry sweetie. :(.
For prospective bad news, I called pga today to line up my last interview, and Juliana (would be boss) said that the schedule changed slightly giving her 6 more interviews today. she said the callbacks would be tomorrow. So I'll wait again tomorrow and probably give them a call in the evening. When I hung up I was slightly discouraged so we (leah is so helpful) applied to about 5 more places. My hopes are still up for the pga position because I really think there is no comparison between valeting at PGA National Golf Club and Resort vs. being a cashier at blockbuster.
Ben had to bring up the fact that the Batman sequel comes out tonight. Thanks ben. I want to see this movie so badly. So let me know how it is.
Reply to Sam's comment: We definitely are going to go see twilight and dress up like vampires. This movie might be higher up on my list than even batman. We might have a hard time persuading Leah though because even though she started reading one book she still laughed at me when I suggested she try reading twilight. Why does a vampire teen romance novel sound so dumb? that's retoracle. don't answer it.
We met one of our neighbors today when she was walking her two dogs. She confirmed leah's assumption that it was easy to get away with having pets without paying the pet deposit. Everyday I hear more reasons from leah why we should have either a cat or a dog, but I'm still against the idea until we have steady jobs and schedules, and till we have our lives a little more under control.
Leah and I agree that we miss her siblings a ton. I already knew what it was like to be seperated from siblings. It was surprisingly hard when Chris, Julie, and Matt all left the house so I know leah must miss her brothers and sister being around all the time. I know it's really hard for parents too. I hope you guys are all doing well. We love and miss you.

-Brent

ps. oh no! Leah is searching for pets on her computer right now. Help.

life according to leah.

heyyy all.
i have news. i am officially reading a book(for leisure), suprisingly, not as gay as I thought. Yesterday night out of COMPLETE AND UTTER BOREDOM, i started reading one of brents books that he got from the library. its actually a really good book. anywho, i was pretty bummed when i didnt get to start my job on time like i was supposed to on tuesday because they didnt have enough people. but i get to go in a fill out paper work tomorrow at 2, then i start at 10am this coming tuesday. we went to the beach today, the water is so amazing here, you can see straight through it (compared to ocean city)... but yes its amazing. so we just swam then laidout and read our books. we must have looked like dorks. but its okay. anywho, not much else to say

loveyou missyou

books, movies, and jobs (in order of importance)

I finally got a membership to the library here! woot. so I checked out two books yesterday because the one I got at target turned out to be terrible. Why can't everybody write like Stephenie Meyer or JK Rowling? The fourth and final book of the twilight series comes out early in August and I can't wait to get it. My mom is trying to mail out my skimboard so im excited to get it. Tons of people down here skimboard so maybe ill end up meeting some cool people that way. The other night me and leah walked by the movie theatres when we were together and leah decided that she wanted to go see sex and the city. I really did not want to go see it, but I think I would have if she couldn't compromise to a more gender neutral (ha) movie. So at about the time I was giving in and getting ready to get the tickets she says that she is going to go see it but that she is going to get me a ticket to a different movie. She put her foot down and absolutely wouldn't let me go into the theatre with her. WEIRD. so she ended up seeing her movie while I watched the incredible hulk. I'm still a little confused about it.
Today was the first day in a while that we haven't gone to the beach. The weather was actually less than perfect so we settled with a quick trip to the pool that is across the street from our apartment. I'm nervous about the pga job. I really want it, and Ill be angry if i cut my hair for nothing. Tomorrow is supposed to be my last interview for the job. I'll let everyone know what happens as soon as I find out myself.

so brents gay, he didnt post. but we are at the library now and i will do a short one. today we went to the beach and they went shopping for me to try to find comfortable heels(joke right), anyways brent actually found the winners. he found a super cute pair of heels for 6 bucks at payless down here, then i found a pair for 9. so 15 dollars for 2 super cute pairs of shoes. so anways, i was supposed to start my job tomorrow but they called me and told me that they dont have enough people in orientation so i have to start next tuesday. i was a little sad, but then i realized i can go to the beach tomorrow so its okay with me HAHA. anways, then we came home and ate lunch. then me and brent did scrapbooking!!!!! we got done officially 1/2 of our wedding scrapbook. me AND BRENT!!! yes my friends, brent scrapbooks. we did the whole 9 nine yards, with the stickers and pictures and colored paper and shapes and all the cute stuff, me and brent both did pages by ourselves. it looks so good. we still have to do the other half of the album, but we made a lot of progress. me and brent both grew up in box picture famiies. meaning, all of our pictures that arent digital(Excluding my baby album mom) are sitting in boxes their garage getting older... brent claims the same thing, except he says his are in boxes in storage.
SOOOOOOO i decided we will be scrapbook people, non box having people, time for a change.(no offense families.. i loveyou) but, i am excited. all of our pictures that we have taken since we have been married, are in an album too. which while i am on the subject of pictures, SAMANTHA SCHLESSER'S WEDDING PICTURES THAT I MADE FOR HER ARE ON HOLD. until samantha schlesser sends me the cute pictures from hershey park, to put in our short bus buddies album. sam... i have about 15 FREAKING CUTE WEDDING PICTURES, that i want to send to you, that i cant send to you, because i have no hershey park pictures that i was promised. i am waiting miss sam....me. ha..jkjk. anyways, i miss sam. and i m iss ben. and i m iss brandon. mostly sam, but anyways. this has turned into a dreadfully long post that i will end... now. because i am hungry.

ps... mom i fixed your link. and show this post to Josh, and tell Josh, that if Josh does not call his sister, his sister is going to get very upset. His sister calls him, and he does not talk to her, so if he does not call me, we are not friends. the end of storyJOSH.

there is a lot of capitilization in this post.geez

k well I had my final interview with Macy's on Saturday, and I GOT THE JOB. I start full time Tuesday, I have orientation from 9-3 that day, then I train on registers for 2 days. They say you should be ready to go on the floor on Friday. But they don't expect you to start the comission sales for 2 weeks which is a relief. And this job is full time, and when I told them about my college classes they were fine with it. If financial aid goes as planned I will be going to school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights. Its only part time, but with us being out of state residents, they are charging us 270 dollars per credit hour, and each classes is usually 3 credits. So thats like 900 dollars a class. For instate, its 75 per hour, so its like 1/3 of the cost after this year of being out of state. We will go full time as soon as we are considered in state, so next summer. And they wont consider us as independents, so we are basically getting the money of a dependent child, and you cant live on that. sooo... thats the deal with school. BRENT GOT HIS HAIRCUT AND HE LOOKS LIKE SUCH A HOTTIE :) haha... but really he looks adorable. Yesterday we went to beach, then i had my interview, then we went out since I got a job. We went to see the movie Wanted, which was this action movie.....but it was an awesome movie. So today we went to the beach, but it rained so we left, then we went shopping for me to get a suit and I found 2 of the most perfect suits, 1 was a pants suit(usually I cant get pants suits because they are too long, and they look like clown pants) but these fit perfect, then a skirt suit, one had a long sleeved jacket and one had a short sleeved jacket, so I can mix and match. And they were both only $20 dollars each at ROSS discount store(they have one in York too, you ladies/men should go there to shop, because everything is cheap and amazing). Anyways, we are at the library now and I have some things to do, so I will go. leave comments people.

every time I log on I plan on leaving a small post but then this happens-

theres not much to update you guys on. Leah and I still aren't positive if either of us have landed the jobs. Leah is at her third and final interview at macy's right now though so my fingers are crossed. The weather has been amazing the past few days, but a thunderstorm is rolling in as im typing. I'm seriously disappointed about the whole alligator thing. I got my first decent night of sleep last night. I think I might warm up to our new bed after all. Since we don't have cable tv I grabbed a random book off of the shelf at target for cheap. It was an author I've never heard of, but it actually is pretty decent writing. Most of our time is still being soaked up by the beach, job interviews, grocery store trips, clothing store trips (for leahs potential job), paperwork for school, bills, mail, getting wedding business in order and things of that nature. Most importantly the beach though. Leah has been complaining much lately about the fact that my back is super tan and my chest and stomach look the the creme on an oreo cookie. So today we went to the beach while the sun was strong and I laid out while I continued to read my new book.

I'm really glad everybody enjoys reading the blog. Connie, your comments are hilarious, mostly about convincing sam that alligators are big lizards. Ha. And we can't wait to show you and Brad the nice beaches down here. Lori and Mom, I've been contemplating cutting my hair, but so far it didn't seem like a big deal at PGA. I probably will cut it though. Ben, I think I'm about to stop checking your blog everytime I get on the computer. And what's this about trek? were you there all three days? Congrats on the Eagle Scout. Go get a job that's better than everybody elses now :). Sam, keep us updated on your plans and whats going on in lebanon. Whats going on with your internet?

Hopefully next time we update one of us will assure you we have a job. till then, leave comments...

leah....

okay well the comments are lacking on brents post. goodnesspeople.
anyways, since I posted. we got our mattress in and I think its amazing. but brent still cant sleep, I think its just in his head, because this bed is amazing. anyways, yesterday Brent had his interviews like he said, and I am excited for him. And he is at his Lowe's interview as we speak. Today we had to go back to the school to resubmit some stupid paperwork, but like while we where in line some stupid security guard guy walked in and turned off all the lights and was like we are closed. how dumb is that, it was like 12 noon and the hours said it was open till 4. so it was just weird. then we went and returned some things at ross and looked for me a suit. BECAUSE I GOT THE JOB AT MACYS!!! WOOO.... I hope I did at least, because she said once you have your third interview you are basically hired, and my third is tomorrow at 3. so I am excited.... but I was looking for a suit today, and I was unsuccessful... basically because I am short, all the pants look like clown pants. soo... we have to look more tonight. Anyways, its gorgeous outside(like it is everyday), so I am going to go to the pool to wait for Brent to get home. Then we are going to the beach. Well loveyou missyou peace...angelia.

Yesterday when Leah was at the library she found out that the valet position was open again for PGA national golf club. So this morning I went over filled out an application and asked for an interview. The first interview went well so the woman scheduled another interview for the afternoon.
In between interviews I had to take my placement test at pbcc since I'm a freshman. That was fun. not really. But when I was done, Leah picked me up and we went back to the apartment to eat lunch. she also bought me some cheap dress shoes so that I would look decently professional. I had to take out my ear rings because the first woman to interview me said their male employees can't have peircings (whatever). So I drove back to PGA and had 3 mini interviews with different people. All the interviews went well, but I still need one more interview before they can officially hire me. That interview will probably be next wednesday. The job sounds pretty amazing during the winter because my would be boss said that she has seen some valet attendants walk out in a single night with over $300. Thats during the in season though. Currently she said business is pretty slow and some of the guys are leaving at the end of the day with only a few dollars in their pockets. I don't know whether I should take the job or not. It will depend on whether leah gets the job at macy's and also how my interview at lowes goes tomorrow.
Leah and I almost died when we found out that the school won't let us resubmit papers for financial aid now that we are married. We have to wait a year to resubmit so we are screwed for this semester. I think that I'll have to go part time this semester and then transfer to a nearby university next semester so I can change my financial aid status. We're worried, but we'll figure it all out.
People skimboard here a lot more than they do in Maryland so I can't wait to get my board shipped down. Im also really surprised at how different the beaches are here. the waves move like you're in an enormous wave pool. The water is so clear that I have to taste it everytime to know that its not spring water. There are tons of surfers down here, and there is fishing off the piers at the same areas that people are swimming and boogie boarding (that kinda scares me).

hey guys...
well today me and brent had a load of crap to do. first we had to turn in our rent check, and get proof of residency so we could get our new licenses. and then we had to go actually get our licenses. which I must add are so much cooler than PA licenses. they have colors and they are just cooler, and my license picture is pretty fab, just like the last one. that whole license picture sucks thing just doesnt apply to me. not to be a snot, but my license is maddd coool!!! lol. hehe anyways, then i went and did a bank deposit while mr brent made lunch at home. then we had lunch (i finally cleaned out the car today). literally since we moved down here, we havent gotten any crap out, we had like a foot tall pile of just crap all over the car that was starting to smell rotten, so i figured it was time. so I cleaned then I came to the library so I could write on the blog and just do internet stuff. Anywho, WE GET OUR MATTRESS LIKE AS WE SPEAK THEY ARE DELIVERING IT!! WOOO... I will give more updates tomorrow.
